USA Hockey Registration - Volunteer
All managers must register with USA Hockey prior to participating in any activies for the current season and cannot be added to a roster until completed.
Registration is required annually and is valid for the period of September 1 through August 31. There is no cost to register as a volunteer to be a team manager.
Atlantic District Background Screening Instructions
USA Hockey requires all coaches to complete a background screen prior to beginning coaching activities for the current season. USA Hockey's Atlantic District has an arrangement with Verified Volunteers so that your screening clearance is fed into the USA Hockey database. When a coach or manager is added to a USA Hockey roster, it will indicate your screening status. Coaches must be rescreened every two years.
USA Hockey SafeSport Training
All coaches must complete any required USA Hockey SafeSport Training prior to participating in any team activities and cannot be added to a roster until completed.
Pennsylvania Act 15 of 2015
Beginning July 1, 2015, coaches are required to obtain additional background checks prior to beginning coaching activities. These screens include:
These certifications are valid for 60 months. Results of these background checks must be provided to the Hockey Committee prior to participating in any team activities and cannot be added to a roster until completed.
